You used to do box orders. Can I still put an order in for later pickup?
We got away from the box system because we are carrying produce every day now. If you require a special order give us a call, we are pretty accomodating.
Juices and Juice Cleanses
A variety of cold-pressed juices are available everyday at the store and café and do not need to be pre-ordered. The juice cleanses must be pre-ordered however.
Can I substitute some of the juices in a cleanse package?
All cleanse packages are customizable. We will spend time with you in store or on the phone finding out what your personal needs are.
Why organic produce?
We concentrate hundreds of pounds of fruits and vegetable when we press our juices, so it's very important to us that we use the cleanest non GMO produce that we can source. We also make sure that all of our produce is non-irradiated. We have the ability to choose our farms and our first choice is always smaller family farms that use more sustainable agricultural practices that focus on soil health for mineral rich foods.
Who should not do a juice cleanse?
Do not do a juice cleanse if you are pregnant or nursing, as accelerated detoxing increase toxins into the blood stream. However drinking one or two juices daily along with a well balanced diet is ideal.
Do not do a juice cleanse if you are on prescription medication as some juices may interfere or intensify the effects of medication. Consult your doctor about your medications and cleansing.
What should I do to prepare for a cleanse?
One or two days before your cleanse start to reduce coffee, sugar, and meat intake and focus on drinking more water. Coming off of a cleanse is much the same. Ease gently into food starting with broth, soups, lots of veggies and water dense foods.
Can I still work or workout during a cleanse?
Yes. Just be mindful to not overdo it, and maybe let people around you know! Moderate exercise is a definite plus and will help keep things circulating and moving. If you still need to maintain energy and not slow down much then the 'Gentle Juice Cleanse' might be better for you.
Do you offer group cleansing discussions or guided cleansing programs?
Yes. If you have a group that would like to cleanse together we do offer a group discussion and learning session. Twice a year (spring and fall) we host an in house 'Group Cleansing Workshop'. If you would like personal, Individual counseling and monitoring then we recommend Inner Glow Nutrition's Kristin Fraser. Long term cleansing should be supervised by a practitioner.
How will I feel during my cleanse?
Cleansing can be different for everyone. Some people may experience physical symptoms like headaches, achy body, rashes, nausea, lack of energy etc. Some people may experience emotional detoxing like mood swings, drudging up of old feelings and emotions from the past etc.
This is your opportunity to consciously reflect and release them. Make sure you take time to take care of yourself.
Detox symptoms are normal. You will likely experience a few days of them but they do subside and you will start to feel amazing. People have experience an increase in energy, greater focus and mental clarity, greater resolve, clearer skin and eyes and so much more.
If detox symptoms are to severe they can be slowed by adding some fat like avocado o, nut mylk, bone broth or a light meal.
Colonics are also a good idea during a long cleanse and can quickly decrease uncomfortable detox symptoms. We recommend Jackie at Internal Synergy.
What if I feel really hungry?
We recommend adding a greens powder to your juices . Our top 2 favorites are TriPow (a beautiful chlorella/spirulina mix) and Vitamineral Green from HealthForce
It is very important to be eliminating properly during a cleanse!

We ocasionally repeat classes. Use the handy form on the Classes page to request a repeat.

The best way to ensure you don't miss out on classes is to subscribe to our newsletter, and keep an eye on the Classes listing on our website.
If you do not have access to email, please stop by the store and leave your name at the till and we'll call you when the class you're interested in is scheduled.
